Psychotherapy Supervision

What?

Supervision is a formal process in which a qualified or trainee psychotherapist regularly presents his or her client work to a designated or chosen supervisor as a way of enhancing their practice through careful reflection on the process. - UKCP

Who for?

Aimed for gestalt therapists as well as counselors and therapists coming from different modalities.

How?

One to one or group supervision is a co-created dialogue between the supervisor and supervisor as equals which enables the space in which reflection and learning can take place. It involves the right balance between support and challenge. It is a safe space for reflecting on one's work and making sure that the care for the clients is mirrored by the care for oneself in a simultaneous dance.

Why?

We do not go to supervision because it is mandatory, we go to ensure the best possible practice for our clients and take care of ourselves as instruments.
